Mid-career professionals who are interested in increasing their knowledge and expertise in their respective disciplines are eligible for the Commonwealth professional fellowship programme.
One goal of the programme is to give professionals in the midst of their careers from low- and middle-income nations the tools they need to advance in their fields.

They will be funded to spend a period of time at an organization in the United Kingdom. They will be made to pick a program that fits their field of professional development.
The program is opened to member countries of the Commonwealth where several professionals are selected and given full funding.
Eligible applicants must be a citizen or must have been granted a refugee status by an eligible country of the Commonwealth or a British protected person with at least five years working experience in their respective fields.
At the time of applying, applicants must be in an active employment with an organization they will return to impact knowledge after the program.
