An ex-convict from the Nsawam Medium Security Prison who talked in a select meeting on Happy 98.9 FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ with Afrifa-Mensah has amazingly uncovered there’s consistently chaos in the jail at whatever point there’s a lack of marijuana, prominently called wee in Ghana.
“The main thing not in the Nsawam Prison is cocaine. Detainees can sneak a ton of substances into the jail particularly ‘wee’. Be that as it may, at whatever point there is a deficiency of the substance in the jail, even the jail superintendents remain in isolation,” the man whose name was just given as Mohammed reviewed.
The intriguing piece of Mohammed’s disclosure was the point at which he said Prison Officers become apprehensive in light of the fact that it gets hard to control detainees when there is a lack of the substance in the jail.
“The ‘wee’ helps prisoners to relax and remain calm whilst waiting for their sentencing to end. It also helps people to sleep and chaos only erupts when the substance is not available,” he reiterated.
He further included that when they go outside to work, they sneak the substance into the office by inserting it into their butt.
